My Background

I rowed for the Penn Lightweights as a member of the Varsity Eights for four years, 2016-2020. During the course of my tenure, I medalled at the Eastern Sprints three times, winning the Varsity Eight in 2019, as well as twice at the IRAs. My PR 2K is a 6:12.

In addition to my role as an athlete, I held the team position of Clerk of Recruiting from 2017 until my graduation in 2020. This position allowed me to aid the coaches in their search for recruits, and more importantly, act as a liaison between the team, the coaches, and recruits on their official visits. As a result of my years spent as the Clerk of Recruiting, I have an in-depth understanding of the recruitment process as well as what coaches and schools are looking for in a recruit.

Prior to rowing at Penn, I rowed for NorCal Crew from 2014-2016. While at NorCal, I won the Youth Nationals Lightweight Varsity Four in 2016 and the Youth Nationals Lightweight Varsity Eight in 2015. In addition to rowing at NorCal, I coached the Varsity Men's summer program in 2019.
